“In 2024 I began experimenting with the wood residue collected in my dust extractor. After two years of exploration and refinement, this led to my first series of works. The series consists of forms made from a wood fibre–based material that I developed myself. Titled Symbiosis, the works bring these new forms together with solid wood, creating a dialogue between different states of the same material.

Post Lignum is an ongoing series in which the fibre-based forms take on a more autonomous presence. Where Symbiosis brought them into dialogue with solid wood, these works explore how they can exist and organise independently. I approach each work as a possible new speciation: an unfamiliar organism or system emerging from wood in an altered state. Across the series, I explore different forms of organisation, from individual sculptures to larger, interconnected structures.
